Today (18.07.06) "Danny Brown" went to join his dear sister Lulu (Talraz Tutti Frutti) who went on ahead in 2001.

He had recently celebrated his 15th birthday (10th June) which was quite a bonus following a major stroke in November and a second smaller one in the spring.

For many years he had been much troubled with arthritis, but continued to enjoy life especially FOOD, squeaky toys and GIRLS (his three great loves). Long walks were a distant memory but he enjoyed a car ride and a belly rub as much as ever.

Our condolences go to dear friends Carol and David, who "shared" Danny with us during his long and pampered retirement years, with thanks for allowing Mick and myself to say our special farewells to this dear old boy this morning. I know we will all miss him, but he has left a huge hole in their hearts and in their lives, and many tears have been shed already.

Uncannily almost to the exact minute that the visiting vet gave the final sleep to Danny in his home, our girl Jess (his niece) leapt up in the garden as if she had been stung, and bolted into the house, where she sat panting and thoughtful for about twenty minutes before returning to her shady spot outside.

Rest well Danny.
